Pornography Distribution The definition of pornography is: sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal.

It is a felony or misdemeanor in most states to do any of the following: print, publish, sale and/or distribute “hard core” pornography.

It is hard to judge what is “soft core” and “hard core” porn and even harder for judges, juries, and law enforcement officials to determine the difference, since case law is not able to print such examples for the courts to follow.
